Spanish, Miracles, and a little bit of humor :)

Okay so this week has been just dandy!! :) Also the weather has in many ways been like Utah weather. One day is cold and the next is way hot. Okay not really, but earlier this week when we went to walk to our work out center I could see my breath!! Ah!! And now today is about 1000 degrees!! :)

So we went on exchanges with the sister training leaders...yeah that was interesting since I went to Hermitage with Hermana Jensen. So yes...Spanish....that was quite the adventure. Luckily only 2 of the lessons I had with her were in Spanish (as in the people did not speak any English). Yeah I literally just sat there the entire lesson and didn't say a thing! It was kind of funny because when we got to this one lady's house Hermana Jensen had to use the bathroom and before she left she translated for a second and said "She says for you to sit down." So I follow the lady into the kitchen where there isn't a table or anything and so I just stand there awkwardly and we don't say anything. Then she starts speaking Spanish and pointing at a bucket over and over and so I finally sit on it and then she was happy. Apparently they only have buckets for seats...it was pretty sad....but yeah that was really awkward. The rest of the lessons were with English people or people who could speak English so it was fine. :) Hermana Jensen is serioulsy the cutest! I love her to death! It's sad though because she goes home at the end of this transfer....Cedar City Utah! :) I was like, "Hey! My mom grew up there!"....unless I am mixing up the cities....which in that case this is just really awkward.....

Okay so do you want to here the coolest thing ever? If not, too bad, because I am going to tell you anyway. So we were trying to decide where to tract and we were driving down the road and Ssiter O all of the sudden just turns down this random road and she's like, "I have never noticed this street! We should tract here!" Okay so first of all, it was about 3:30 or 4ish at this point...which is really not a good time to tract. Pretty much no one is home...but we have had to do some tracting before dinner lately because now it gets dark really fast. Anyway, so we were going and going and NO ONE Is answering. One person answered I think. Anyway so we get to the end house and this 18 year old answered and he was super nice and super open. So we start talking to him and he was telling us about how they haven't really gone to church lately and he had just been trying to answer all the questions and stuff that he had. It was a super amazing lesson. It was one of those times when you just know that their hearts have been prepared. So at the end we asked him if we could come back and he said yes and then offered to give us his number. RIGHT then his mom came out and asked who we were. So we told her and she invited us. So we taught her the Restoration and the boy just listened to it again. When we were talking about Joseph Smith she was suddenly just saying how they were good and didn't need a religion because they were good practicing on their own. So then we just asked if we could finish the lesson and she said yes. And so we did but got a similar response and she was pretty much like, "We are good and you really don't need to come back." (After we asked if we could come back). I was like, "No!!! Blake (the son) was super interested!!!" And I was just praying because we hadn't gotten his number or anything.......but get this: Blake just turned to his mom and was like, "You know I think they could come back. Something's telling me to listen to them." Miracle! Mir-a-cle!!! And then to make it even better Blake was like, "Did you still want my number?" And then gave it to us! We weren't even going to ask again! Wow!!!!

So here's another quick miracle for you:
Sorry that story was like 13 years long. I hope you're not bored. I don't have any random things about frogs to interject at this point to make it not-boring so.....yeah..........

Oh guess what we get to see this week? Meet the Mormons! Ah! They are giving us a special screening at Zone Meeting and so we get to see it before everyone else! haha! Okay sorry...but I'm pretty excited. I'll tell you how it was next week! :)

You wanna read a kind of funny scripture? Look up Alma 27:17. Haha Ammon was so happy that he fell to the ground. I don't know why that's so funny but it is. Then in verse 19 it talks about how Aaron and Omner and Himni were really happy but they didn't fall to the ground. Can you imagine this reunion? Ammon is so happy he falls to the ground and Aaron, Omner and Himni are probably just looking at him like, "What are doing?" haha You know you're a missionary when pretty much all your jokes/humor are from the scriptures! :)

So....the General Women's meeting was fantastic! I loved it SO much! :) I loved Elder Uchtdorf's talk! That was fantastic! :) I really loved the part about how God is always raining blessings on us but it's our umbrellas that don't allow us to get those! Man! I was one of those one's that always thought that God was just waiting to give them to us until we were obedient - FALSE! He's already raining them on us we just have to learn to close our umbrellas by obedience and living the commandments! Anyway, I thought that was really interesting. Also, I love the quote,  "He loves you TODAY." God loves us forever and always and like Romans 8:38-39 says, For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." We will NEVER be separated from the love of Christ! :)

Sorry this letter is a little bit short! And sorry for all the pictures! A lot happened this week!!! Especially on Saturday! :)

Love,
Sister Myers

Tracting is like a box of chocolates....you never know what you're gonna get

So I'm not really 100% sure why I put that as the subject line...probably because it's true. Yesterday we were tracting and we get to this one house and we knock and this dog inside barks...and this does not sound like a small dog. Sister O and I just looked at each other with wide eyes. Then we hear this yelling on the inside, "Thor! Get back! Go on! Thor!" And then the door opens and before the person could say anything...all of the sudden the most giantist dog I have like ever seen comes bounding and gives this way mean bark as it practically jumps on me. I literally thought I was going to be eaten by the dog right then! That was probably the scariest moment of my whole tracting life. I actually screamed...it was quite embarrassing. And, it made for a good ice breaker because then for like a whole minute we were all just laughing/I was trying to calm my heart rate down......yeah can you imagine if that dog had eaten me? Sister O would just have to call up President and be like, "Uh...President? My trainee got eaten by a giant dog while we were being obedient and doing our hour of tracting..." Haha not really but we had fun joking about it....

So you know how we have been struggling to get progressing investigators and stuff? Well everyone must be because we had a mission-wide fast this week for all the missionaries and all our investigators! It was awesome! I am so excited to see the miracles that come from it!

We almost ran over a opossum the other day. That was interesting........(Arielle what the heck is the grammar for that? Is it "an opossum" or "a opossum"?)

Remember Sister Morris? We went and visited her this week and she came to church on Sunday! Wahoo!! She is working towards getting her temple recommend again and reading her scriptures and praying! Awesome! She gave us a gift card to a restaurant with a note that said, "Thanks for saving my soul." Aw!!! She is the sweetest! I seriously love her to death! But yeah, it's cool to see someone reactivate! :) We'll still keep visiting her to make sure she stays active but yeah - she's doing great! :)

Renee is awesome! We've only seen her once since our initial contact but this last lesson was super awesome! We basically just answered her questions and talked about the Book of Mormon. Also, we showed her the Gospel Library app and she got SO excited about it! And when I showed her that it would play for her she was even more excited! Then as we left (PS we were on the porch) we could hear her listening to it. Then she was texting us a whole bunch of questions about it later! We told her we would answer them when we saw her next! Pretty cool though! :) PS technology is awesome! :)

I saw a frog pounce on a bug and eat it. That was pretty sweet. Also I saw a spider the size of Africa that was had the coolest spider web. Also it was really colorful. Like yellow and black and red and some other colors. It was crazy! I wanted to look at it longer and or take a picture because I am really weird, but it was while we were tracting in front of an atheist household so that might have been a little bit weird. Sorry that was totally random. I remembered the frog because it happened while we were on Renee's porch (haha where the frog jumped on Sister O...frogs must like that porch) and then I just randomly thought of the spider.....not sure why I just explained why I wrote about that....I am so bizarre in case you didn't know.

Terry!!! He didn't come to church last week...I think I already told you about that. But yeah that was sad...so we went to go see him on Friday and his son, TJ answered and we had a discussion with him and invited him to church (Terry was already asleep) and he was super genuine and said he would seriously pray about it and come if he got an answer. He didn't come. That was depressing. We haven't had a single investigator at church the past 2 weeks. Not even Jay....we aren't sure what's going on with him. We haven't seen him in quite a while.

But hey guess what? We set a baptismal date! It was with this investigator named Skip! I don't think I have ever talked about him. He has been taking the lessons for several months now and he is practically already a member! We teach him lessons and it's seriously like teaching a member...there's like not much for him to learn! He hasn't been baptized yet because he lives in an awful environment that makes it really difficult to live the Word of Wisdom. Also he is Roman Catholic and that has been a major part of his life. He has had several baptism dates to work towards. We are praying that this will be the one! But he still has quite a ways to go. He was telling us how if he gets baptized he could go to the Roman Catholic church and the Mormon church....oh my.........

And before I go, here's a quote that I was reading this week that I just love! It's by Jeffrey R. Holland so brace yourself! :) "In the gospel of Jesus Christ you have help form both sides of the veil, and you must never forget that. When disappointment and discouragement strike - and they will - you remember and never forget that if our eyes could be opened we would see horses and chariots of fire as far as the eye can see riding at reckless speed to come to our protection. They will always be there, these armies of heaven, in defense of Abraham's seed." Gah! I love that! We will always have help! Sometimes it's hard to see these armies coming to our aid when the adversary is so prevalent. But if we can remember the divine help that we get every day it will give us great strength! God is going to win! As Elder Holland also said, “The future of this world has long been declared; the final outcome between good and evil is already known. There is absolutely no question as to who  wins because the victory has already been posted on the scoreboard. The only really strange  thing in all of this is that we are still down here on the field trying to decide which team’s jersey we want to wear!”

Well, that's pretty much all I have for this week! :) I hope y'all are having a week as interesting as mine! Hopefully you haven't been attacked by giant dogs though. :)
Love you!!!
Love,
Sister Myers

P.S. Here are some pictures from this week! They are just kind of random. These pictures pretty much define the south - beautiful country and everyone loves Jesus.

Two Months in Tennessee

Yep! I've been here 2 months today! Isn't that crazy! I'm a little weirded out by the concept! :)

So not a lot of amazing things have happened this week. I really don't have an miracles to tell but I have some pretty entertaining stories that you will either laugh your head off at....or you will just shake your head and go.."That Sister Myers and her companion are the bizarrest people to walk the planet..." Yeah....the latter is probably true though haha.

Well first off...we got to go to the Temple this week! The day before was seriously like Christmas Eve and the morning off was like Christmas morning....and then when it was over we were just like...this like when all the presents have been opened and you're just like oh....it was sad to go back to the real world. But anyway it was was amazing! Haha it was funny though because the session started out in Spanish! You should've seen the officiators face! Haha! :) Okay but when we got into the Celestial room we were all just sitting there and President and Sister Anderson were hugging the missionaries and I was just sitting there and I just felt so much love for all the missionaries and President and Sister Anderson! It was just like, "these people are my family!" (Mom...don't freak out)...but anyway it was awesome! I seriously love all the missionaries here! And the people! It's crazy how much you can love people in just such a short amount of time. Also, don't worry this is like a family love...no one freak out...haha "Lock Your Heart"!!! :) Haha Garrett remember when you told me that before you left and you were like, "You'll understand when you're a missionary!" haha when I read that talk I was like, "Oh!" Anyway random...probably no one cares....

Okay so here's your entertaining stories for you:
So the other day I went to get a drink of milk and so I poured some and luckily only took a sip. It was so disgusting. It was thick (not sure why I didn't notice when I poured it) and it tasted like sour yogurt. Oh my....I was so grossed out. I looked over at the counter and saw some wafer cookie things and I seriously just started stuffing them in my mouth....ah! I can still imagine that taste! Oh yeah PS the milk was definitely not supposed to be expired....anyway....so then I went and told Sister O and when I was telling her the story she literally fell to the floor because she was laughing so hard! Haha it was so funny. But yeah...I can still imagine the taste of it! Yikes!

Okay story number 2: so at lunch on Thursday I was sitting at the table writing in my journal and Sister O was making a smoothie. I'm just sitting and writing and all of the sudden Sister O starts screaming and so I run into the kitchen.....smoothie all over the counter....the bottom of the blender had gotten unscrewed and so when she lifted it up and bottom came out and...yeah....so then there was thick smoothie all over the counter and so Sister O goes to start wiping it up with paper towels and I was like, "No." And so I go get a plate/bowl thing and 2 spatulas and I start scraping the smoothie onto a plate and the dumping it out and Sister O thought it was the funniest thing. She was like, "Sister Myers you are going to be a greatest mom because you will have creative ways to clean up throw up and stuff." Um...thanks?

Story number 3: Okay so it was Thursday still and we were having our dinner hour in our apartment because we didn't have an appointment. I went to go take a nap. But then I decided I didn't want to and so I got up and I walked in the room to go sit at the table and I saw Sister O standing, her back facing me, at the counter writing in her journal, waiting for her food to cook. Quick background: Sister O gets scared REALLY easy. Like you could scare her ANY time, any way...So knowing this I was like, "Okay I could scare the crap out of her but I do that way too much so I'm not going to." But, she didn't turn to look at me and so I was pretty sure she didn't see me and so I noisily tossed something onto the couch so she would know I was there and when she heard the sound she turned and when she saw me she screamed. I didn't even mean to scare her that time! Haha it was so funny.

Okay last one: So we go to do a lesson (it's still Thursday) with the Jay and the family and we sit down and all the sudden Sister O stands up screaming and everyone was like, "what? what? what?" Yeah there was a giant beetle in her hair and so then it was crawling around the couch and then it went in the couch....but it was so funny. I was dying......we sat on the floor the rest of the lesson.....

Sister O screamed a lot on Thursday....

So I had chia seed pudding this week. It was bizarre. It pretty much doesn't tasted like anything so you just mix stuff like fruit and yogurt or whatever to make it taste how you want it and supposedly it is pretty healthy (well, maybe not the stuff you put in it but the actual pudding is).

So guess what? Terry was going to come to church this week!!! Then he didn't. Bummer. We went and saw him Saturday night and talked to him and he was SO willing to come to church and we asked his son, who we had talked to once...for like 3 seconds...to come and he was SO willing too! And so we told him we would call him to make sure he was awake and was coming and he said that was alright and so we did. We probably called him like 592 times - and he never answered...bummer....

Jay.....well....he's fine I guess. Still has pretty much no desire to be baptized or anything....*sigh*...we are just praying that he does. He is doing everything! He prays, he reads (he has a goal of reading at least 1 book of the Bible a week! Well...maybe no Isaiah but still!), he comes to church (he didn't come yesterday so that was sad...)....and he listens to our lessons and everything. We know we've done all we can do though and so now we are just trying to keep that spiritual environment there to his desire can grow.

So we got this referral from Elder Bastian (one of the ZL's) and so we went and saw them but no one answered and so we went to the house next door. This girl named Melissa answered and we were talking to her and she was like, "Oh yeah, my best friend is a Mormon. Her name is Talia Jurinsky." Whoa pause! Talia Jurinsky is a less active in the ward! What?! Anyway we talked to her for like an hour and she said we could come back and talk to her! Crazy! Then we went and saw Talia that evening (because she had actually been gone for like 3-4 months because her dad has cancer) and that went so well! She's actually not even really less active per say...she just has a lot of health problems and she literally can't sit through church and so we set up to have someone bring her the sacrament because they were doing it for a while and then stopped and she was wishing she could take it. Can we talk about the timing of this whole thing? Sister Jurinsky was gone...for like 3 months and she just got back and she's only back for a bit! We didn't even know that until Melissa told us! God's timing is crazy.

I guess that was pretty miraculous! Anyway, I hope y'all don't think I'm insane and you were entertained by my stories! :)

Oh yeah but quick before I go I have a question and a quote for y'all:
The quote is, "One thing more contagious than enthusiasm, is lack of enthusiasm." President Monson.....enough said....

And here's the question: If Christ came to you and let you ask 1 question what would you ask? And you can't say "Well I ask him questions all the time through prayer." Yeah someone said that when we asked that while tracting....anyway, really...what would you ask Him? If y'all have time you should email/send your responses somehow because I am really curious.

Anyway, I hope y'all have an amazing week! Love you so much!!
Love,
Sister Myers

Utah Weather, Zone Conference and of course...AMAZING MIRACLES!!!

Sorry this is like...10 years long but if you have time...read it because there have been some seriously amazing miracles this week! :) (They are the 2 giant paragraphs haha)

Well as you can see from my subject line there has been a wide range of schtuff going on this week! Yesterday was the most bizarrest thing...(that's not even a word but I don't care) all day it was like Utah Weather! There was pretty much no humidity at all, and it was really cloudy all day and so it was like 70 degrees. Needless to say tracting was a breeze! :)
A frog jumped on Sister O this week. In the middle of a lesson on someone's porch. It was was chillin on her skirt! It was pretty funny. Not sure why I thought of that but yeah....

Also we had Zone conference this week and that is pretty much the best thing ever! 6 hours of training from the Mission President and the AP's! It was seriously such an awesome day!!! You know you're a missionary when you absolutely love 6 hours of training haha. ;)

WE GET TO GO TO THE TEMPLE ON FRIDAY!!!! YAY!!!!! I'm seriously so excited. It's only been like 2 months since I went and I'm this excited haha

Jay is doing good! We had 2 super awesome lessons this week with him! And the reason they were so awesome was because we did object lessons/really interactive things in both of them and it really made a big difference!! So if you have any ideas for object lessons, interactive things, or activities to demonstrate gospel principles please tell me!!! I would love to have them not just for Jay but for other lessons as well!! Anyway, we taught him the Plan of Salvation and we all drew a part of it on a piece of paper after reading scriptures and we had him lay it out on the floor after to see if he remembered and he got it perfectly right. Then we asked him about each part and he did perfect!!! When I asked him how we get into the Celestial Kingdom he was like, "Uh...you get baptized, repent, make covenants with God...and um visit the Temple I think." Oh my goodness! Jay!!! He's pretty much already a member. He just retains the stuff we tell him so well and so now we are just trying to get that desire to be baptized in him! He keeps commitments and comes to church and everything so now he just needs a desire! He's super awesome though! We've just been praying for him like crazy!!!

Bill was our other progressing investigator...well kind of....he was progressing in every way except coming to church. We didn't get to see him this week and we deicded that since he isn't progressing we'll probably have to not see him and visit him in a few weeks, which is really too bad but you know, what can you do?

2 GIANT MIRACLES FOR THE WEEK!! Seriously! The second one is probably the biggest miracle I have seen on my mission thus far!

Okay so the first one:
On Monday we planned to do a bunch of follow-ups in this one area and so we went over there to do them and we decided to just drive around the neighborhood a bit to see what we could tract later. So we turned on this one street and Sister O was just like, "We need to tract this." So we did. We did a bunch of houses and pretty much got nothing. And then the last house we got to we knocked on and this guy came behind us and was like, "Hello? What do you want?" It scared us so bad. I guess the front door didn't work. Anyway, he was this huge red-head that frankly was pretty scary looking - and smoking. And then his 8 year old son came out and we were talking to them and the Dad said he didn't go to church but his wife and son did. So we talked to the son for a few minutes about it and gave him a picture of Jesus. Then as we were leaving the wife came over and she was so nice. She told us about how she went to some church and she had only been there for 3 months. So we asked her if we could teach her a little bit about what we believe and she was really willing and so we did. It was getting dark and so I couldn't see her expressions or how she was taking it, but the spirit was so strong. It was insane. Then we gave her the pamphlet and stuff and asked if we could come back and she said yes (and so did the husband, he was listening in) and then we asked if we could pray with her. Sister O said it and she offered a beautiful prayer and the spirit just intensified. Afterwards the lady, Danielle just hugged and through tears she was just like "Oh please come back! And please be safe!" It was so amazing.

Then the next day we prayed to know where to tract and we both had the impression to go to the same area. So we went to the street right by Danielle and started tracting. Again, we pretty much got nothing until the last house. So we knock on the door and this little boy, about 4, answers and his mom hurries up behind him (this is important for the story). She comes out and leaves the kids inside and we start to talk to her and she seems really interested in listening. She (her name is Renee by the way) told us that she had just stopped going to her church because it was becoming corrupted and also she works a lot on Sunday's and so it's hard to go to church. So we taught her the Restoration and at one point, not sure when in the conversation she told us, "It's interesting that you two showed up right now because just a few minutes ago I was praying at my sink asking God to give me a sign, a reason to move on. I didn't even hear you knock on the door but all of the sudden my 4 year old runs to the door, and he never goes to the door when someone knocks or rings, and he said, 'Mom! Mom! Someone's at the door' and he started to open it and I said, 'Wait don't open it! You don't know who it is!' And he kept opening it and just said, 'Mommy it's okay.'" It was just the most amazing thing. And it doesn't end there. When we talked about the Book of Mormon she asked for a copy and I explained it to her and showed her the introduction and she started to read it right there...and she couldn't put it down!! We just had to stand there and wait for her to read it! She said that she was going to start reading it tonight and read it tomorrow when she was going to be at doctor's appointments and stuff! We set up a return appointment for this Wednesday! God is so good!!

Okay this isn't as amazing as those miracles but we found this new couple this week that we are teaching! They are Tanner and Aly and they are so great! We actually tracted into Tanner like 3-4 weeks ago and he said we could come back in a few weeks because he was going to be busy because he was getting married and had the honeymoon and stuff so now we went back and taught both of them! They both are Church of Christ but they seem interested. I'm not sure if they really are interested or if they want to just learn about what we believe - if that makes sense. We have just been praying for them like crazy this week that the spirit will touch them!

We just need progressing investigators!! We have found all these amazing people and had these amazing things happen but it usually lessons stop after like...the first lesson, or people want to listen but they won't come to church, or read, or pray or keep commitments! Ah!! We'll get there though! :)

Okay here's your spiritual thought for the week! So we had a training a few weeks ago on how to better obtain the Spirit and one of the things we talked about was vocal prayer and how praying vocally really helps you be focused and know that you really are talking to your Heavenly Father. We also talked about how after you pray you should sit and ponder and write down feelings and impressions that come into your mind. Sister O and I have been going into separate rooms at night and doing that and it is seriously so amazing! It has really increased my relationship with my Heavenly Father and after I just sit on my iPad in the little "notes" app and just write down thoughts that come into my mind and it's just so amazing! Just something that I would suggest that y'all do! Here's a quote by Spencer W. Kimball where he pretty much tells us that any prayers that are appropriate to be vocal, should be vocal! "Pray is such a privilege - to speak to our Father in Heaven. It was a prayer, a very special prayer, which opened this whole dispensation! It began with a young man's first vocal prayer. I hope that not too many of our prayers are silent, even though when we cannot pray vocally, it is good to offer a silent prayer in our hearts and in our minds."

Sorry this letter is like 9 years long. I just had a million things to say!!! I hope y'all have an amazing week! Love you!
Love,
Sister Myers :)

Many Much Miraculous Moments

Don't ask about the title. I know it doesn't really make sense but I don't really care. ;)

Also, tomorrow is my 2 month mark!! Isn't that crazy?! Time flies. It feels like I just got here!

You wanna know something so sad? Robin Williams dying. Yeah that's the most depressing thing ever. I heard about that like forever ago but I was just thinking about it and yeah...that's way sad...he was like...my favorite actor...not really but still!!!

So random miracle/tender mercy: we got in the car the other day and we started to drive away and then Sister O looked up and saw the reading light was on (we use it at night when we write down miles) and she was like, "Has that been on all night?" Yeah, we left the light on all night and we just came out and drove away like normal! Wow! God is so good. Also, Dad, I know you're probably just sitting there shaking you're head thinking, "After all the times I've told her." Hahaha

So cut someone's hair for the first time. That was pretty fun haha. We went to David and Janet's for a lesson and David needed a haircut so they let us cut his hair! It was so funny.

So here's a random miracle: So one morning we were like, "Alright, we are going to pray really hard to know where we should go tracting. So there are 5 little areas within our area and so we just decided to pray about which sub area and so we prayed for a while and we both got 4! It was fantastic. So then we looked at streets on the map and prayed about this one street and so we went there that evening. So we are going along and we come up to this one house and these guys had just pulled up and so it was just one of those awkward moments when you are like, "Should we skip this and then go back after the next house?" And then we were just like, "Oh well...embrace the awkward." So we go up and give one of them a picture of Jesus and he just kind of was like, "Thanks....." And then the other guy got out of the car and he said, "Hey wait I want a picture of Jesus!" And so he comes over to us and we give him a Restoration pamphlet and told him a little bit about it and when Sister O said that we have a modern-day prophet he got really excited and was like, "Really? Can I see a picture (we show him one) Wow! That's so cool!" And then we were just talking to him for a while and he was really interested in hearing more. He couldn't right then but before we could even ask he just straight up offered to give us his number so we could call him and set up a time where he could learn more. It was so awesome! His name is Terry PS.

So then the other miracle was when we were getting gas at Kroger. So when you get gas there if you scan a BOM then you can get Kroger points or whatever and so Sister O was scanning one and this guy and girl come up and ask what she is doing scanning a random book. So she told them why and then started talking about the BOM to them and the guy wasn't interested but the girl was like, "I've always wanted to read that!" And so we told her about it and gave her a copy and then we got her number and so we could talk to her about it later! It was awesome! We have been praying that God would put people in out path and He did! He always does! We just have to look for those opportunities and we will find them!

Sorry there isn't much to say for this week! We've just been tracting for dayzzz! It's been good though. When we were doing weekly planning on Friday we were just like, "Ah!! There's so many follow-ups and people to see that we can't even fit them all in this week!" But no one is really progressing so that's unfortunate - but we'll get there!!!

Oh yeah, I guess I'll give you a quick update on our investigators: well, actually there really isn't much of an update. Everyone is pretty much the same..... :)

Okay I read this really amazing quote the other day during studies by Neal A. Maxwell: "As you submit your will to God, you are giving Him the only thing you can actually give Him that is really yours to give." That is so true though! God could force us to do anything. He could force us to do right. He could force us to go on a mission. He could force us to do anything EXCEPT give up our will! He couldn't force us to submit our will to Him...because that would be against our will...so really submitting our will to the Lord is the greatest gift that we can give Him! It'll be tough. We can't really just wake up one day and say, "I'm going to submit my will to the Lord today!" We have to continually work to submit to His will. But I know that as we do we will be blessed and that God is going to work miracles in our lives!

I love you all and I hope you have an amazing week! :)
Love,
Sister Myers

And here are some pictures by some random signs in TN. Mostly at other churches...haha but they've got good messages...the Daily Bread Cafe one was just funny because there is a Mormon Message called Daily Bread that we always show to people...also we have a song that we listen to that the chorus talks about how "God is good" Anyway...that's fun.
